LALALAND COLLECTION
The LALALAND collection is part of a process of teaching computers how garments work: in this specific work the designer uses an AI algorithm to produce new concepts of erotic clothing
While working with Flora, I was responsible for the construction of two of the garments of the collection. Each of the dresses took roughly 300 hours to produce. The first one, the 'Rado dress', was made through hand-embroided toule on a computer generated pattern. The second one, the 'Waterfall dress' followed a similar technique but this time around the pattern was hand drawn and the embroidery work was done using a sewing machine.
